Welcome! Yokoso! Bienvenidas! Ahlaan Bik! Huangying! Chao Mung! Dobrodosli! Valkommen! Herzlich Wilkommen! Failte! Selamat Datang! Haere Mai! Welina!
Hello! For those who haven't met me yet, I'm Rhonda Miller, the Well-being Officer at Ardross Primary School. I provide support for students, teachers, and parents. The children call me Rhonda to distinguish me from the teachers.
As part of the school well-being team, I offer social and emotional support to students and their families. I also assist parents on their parenting journey.
I've been a Chaplain with YouthCare since 2007 and have worked in various schools across the metro area, both north and south of the river. I'm a trained counsellor, Rainbows Facilitator, G.R.I.T. facilitator, Gatekeeper trained, DRUMBEAT facilitator, and a Critical Incident Trained First Responder available to the West Australian community.
I contribute articles to the school newsletter, providing information about available programs and offering helpful parenting tips on social and emotional issues.
I have an open-door policy. Feel free to drop by my office near Room 10 for a chat any time before or after school. I'm available from 8am to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
If you need to discuss a specific issue, you can email me for an appointment at rhonda.miller@youthcare.org.au
Students can also request to chat with me via the Pastoral Care Letterbox near the reception entrance.
